We have a fleet of compact yet very capable 4x4 Suzuki Jimny SUV which are ideal for solo travellers or 2 people. Our Jimny's are fitted with all-terrain (AT) tyres suited to Namibia's extensive gravel road network. To maximize the packing space when the Jimny is equipped for camping, we recommended that you travel with soft bags.
Gravel, Sand & Tar
Namibia has approximately 7,800km of tar roads and 57,000km gravel roads, and with all-terrain tyres our Jimny's are a comfortable ride on both.
Compact yet Capable
Despite its tiny footprint, the Jimny is a compact and capable 4x4 that is easy to manoeuvre. The cabin is comfortable, and the rear door gives easy access to the back. Packing is simple and unloading is quick. With a roof rack there is sufficient space to take what you need on your trip, leaving behind the frills and unnecessary equipment.
Economical Choice
The Jimny is light of foot at 1,075kg, thus economical on fuel and making it an affordable choice. Take only what you need along. Namibia has well stocked supermarkets throughout the country thus you can stock up on supplies as you travel.
Solo/Couples adventure
Ideally suited for solo travellers or 2 people seeking to experience Namibia by road, traveling at your own pace from lodge to lodge, or self-catering establishments to fully experience Namibia's favourite cooking style; namely a braai where food is grilled over coals. Best enjoyed under our dark star-filled skies.

Our vehicles all have a standard third-party insurance which is included in the daily rate. The renter is liable for the excess which is calculated at 10% of the cost of the damage or total loss (note: terms and conditions apply). The selected excess level will be held as a security deposit on the renters Credit Card (VISA or MasterCard) prior to handing over the vehicle. This will be refunded after inspection of the vehicle which is to be returned to the agreed upon location, undamaged, clean, and refuelled.
Besides the general exclusions in the terms and conditions, the standard insurance excludes windscreen, glass and tyre damages and the renter is liable for these costs.
Please note that the renter is always liable for the damages of the rented vehicle up to the chosen level of excess, regardless of who caused the accident. This means that even if a third-party caused the accident, the renter is liable for the damages. In Namibia, and the neighbouring countries, it is not mandatory for vehicle owners to have an insurance, thus many uninsured vehicles are on the roads. Therefore, it is highly recommended to reduce your risk through purchasing a reduced waiver option.
It should be noted that this insurance is not comparable to the German Vollkasko. Please read our terms and conditions carefully to understand the limits to the renters' rights.
