With prior arrangement, vehicles can be picked up and returned outside of office hours and on weekends/public holidays. Pick up and return of the vehicle is in Windhoek. We can assist with arrangement for airport transfers, which will be at your cost.

Pick up of vehicles after 14h00 is only allowed if proof of accommodation in Windhoek or surrounds is provided prior to your arrival. If your arrival in Windhoek is scheduled for after 14h00, it is recommended to stay in Windhoek and collect the car the following morning.

The Namibia Airport Company restricts collection and return of rental cars at the airport unless the rental company has offices at the airport site.

Our vehicles all have a standard third-party insurance which is included in the daily rate. The renter is liable for the excess which is calculated at 10% of the cost of the damage or total loss (note: terms and conditions apply). The selected excess level will be held as a security deposit on the renters Credit Card (VISA or MasterCard) prior to handing over the vehicle. This will be refunded after inspection of the vehicle which is to be returned to the agreed upon location, undamaged, clean, and refuelled.

Besides the general exclusions in the terms and conditions, the standard insurance excludes windscreen, glass and tyre damages and the renter is liable for these costs.

Please note that the renter is always liable for the damages of the rented vehicle up to the chosen level of excess, regardless of who caused the accident. This means that even if a third-party caused the accident, the renter is liable for the damages. In Namibia, and the neighbouring countries, it is not mandatory for vehicle owners to have an insurance, thus many uninsured vehicles are on the roads. Therefore, it is highly recommended to reduce your risk through purchasing a reduced waiver option.
